This is a medium to long range antenna for 40 meter band. The
gain at 35 deg elevation is better than 6dBi.
Directivity is abt 10dB - 15dB between the main and side lobes. You can put it higher to get even better low angle radiation.
The shape has been adjusted to provide direct 50 ohm impedance.

Note 1. The dimension in parenthesis are for insulated wire eg "Killu".
Note 2. A common mode choke balun is recommended in the feeding point.
Note 3. This is not a good NVIS antenna. For NVIS put up a horizontal loop or a dipole at 8m height.
