I have a "virgin" TRX-2A DDS board. I don't have the expertise to load the boot loader and firmware. I'm looking for someone to load the software so I can use my TRX again. Can you do this service for me? Cost in US$? Thanks for any help.

That's great news, Matti. Hope to do more great Juma kits when they're available. Still some of the best designed ham equipment anywhere.

Adrian,
Thank you for your continued support of the TRX2. I'm still working on my TRX2 and hope to finish it this winter, we'll see.

Re: DDS/Front panel voltage table
Just to document and keep everyone informed of my TRX2A build here's the update. I destroyed the first DDS by improper soldering of the dsPIC. The second I sent to a builder who did a beautiful job but by using improper grounding technique and improper voltage jumpers I destroyed that one. It would ...

DDS/Front panel voltage table
Looking for help on my TRX2A problem. My radio turns on with a push of power button, long push does nothing. Will not turn off with power button. When it turns on I have no backlight and only blocks on first row of display very dim. I checked the voltages on the display pins -2 = 5V,15 = 12V and 16 ...

Re: Nothing to buy in Juma e-shop
Juha, Matti and Kari - Are there any plans to offer newly designed kits or to restock and continue selling your offerings listed on the product page? I know it's been 10 - 15 years ago that you were actively designing and producing JUMA products but looking in Juha personal page, I see DDS receivers ...

Re: Nothing to buy in Juma e-shop
Petr, I too am hoping that the gentlemen who make up Juma will create new kits and continue to provide their excellent offerings to the radio enthusiast. Even though the rage in amateur radio seems to be SDR radios (K3, mcHF and others), I think there is still a place for a well designed non-SDR ...

Re: Lower output from 10W
After lookin through the whole forum for an answer because the search form wouldn't search for it, I found the answer on how to lower the output from 10W on both CW & SSB. Thanks Adrian, ∞ 5B4AIY for his explanation from a few years ago. Posted here for an answer so others can reference: "The output ...

Re: Lower output from 10W
Ed, That's exactly what I don't want to do. I was hoping someone had modified the Tx RF Atn and Ist stage PA amp circuit to make changes to the output power. The unit already has 1db, 2db or 3 db attenuation for band balancing in the Tx RF Atn circuit. I'd like to add those and 6db + 9db as user ...
