Re: JUMA 100D Firmware Update
Hi Stan I had to do a bit of digging on my old computer. I have found the bootloader software but it is too large to post on this site. Greater than 500kB. Can you send me an email to vk4grm@redclifferadioclub.org.au and I will email it to you direct. There are a number of files that I have here and ...

Re: JUMA 100D with LDG AT-100 ProII
Hi Adrian
I will give it a try and let you know how I go.
The biggest problem seems to be that the Auto tuner retunes with changing power.
I may have to just run it in Manual mode if the power averaging needs too high a level
Kind Regards

JUMA 100D with LDG AT-100 ProII
Hi Adrian I have been trying to use my Juma 100D with a LDG AT-100 ProII Antenna Tuner without much success to date. It would appear that the Juma 100D VSWR trip is instantaneous once the SWR level is exceeded. What is appearing to happen is that when the AT-100 ProII Antenna Tuner goes ...

Re: JUMA 100D Firmware Update
Thanks Adrian
I did notice that there was quite a range where the displayed value did not change. Your approach of taking the average provides a good way of getting the best result.
I will do another frequency calibration tonight.
Thanks again

Re: JUMA PA100D Build Log
Hi Peter I have just successfully updated the software on my PA100D. If you intend to try I suggest you have a read of my posts on Adrian's part of the Forum. Adrian has been a great help in getting this sorted for me as a ran into a few problems. I have included some details to help with getting it ...

Re: JUMA 100D Firmware Update
Hi Adrian Thanks again for your help. The software is loaded and all appears to be working correctly. I worked a few more countries on FT8 tonight!! I have calibrated the Voltage using a digital multi-meter and the Power using a spectrum analyser and home brew coupler. I have to track down a clamp ...

Re: JUMA 100D Firmware Update
Hi Adrian I have successfully loaded version V3.00c of your software. The thing that was interesting was that I had to install the following dlls MFC71.dll MSVCR71.dll MSVCP71.dll to get the ingenia bootloader to run. I will now spend some more time with your manual to better understand the ...

Re: JUMA 100D Firmware Update
Hi Adrian I think I have it sorted. As you surmised the MAX232 chip was OK! :D I am not sure but I think the default port settings may have been corrupted so it was not talking or responding to commands. Alternatively and this is perhaps more likely you need to be in the TEST mode for the port to be ...

Re: JUMA 100D Firmware Update
Hi Adrian To answer your last post first: I conducted the loop back test you suggested, just connected the ring and the tip together and was able to observe data being echoes back to the terminal program. I ran "the quick brown fox" to see a string of data. I have downloaded Termite and am running ...

Re: JUMA 100D Firmware Update
Hi Adrian Another update. I have checked the solder connections etc and all appear to be OK. I have checked the connections with a multi-meter and read 100 ohms between the following: DB9 Pin 2 and Pin 14 on the MAX232 DB9 Pin 3 and Pin 13 on the MAX232 This is consistent with the 100 ohm resistors ...
