Roof Corner Mount NVIS Mobile Whip Antenna Simulation

NVIS QSO is not so easy with a mobile whip antenna especially when the distance is short because the takeoff angle is almost directly upward 90 degrees.

The best NVIS location seems to be a roof corner. See another location simulation here.

This is a 1.5 meter long
whip antenna simulation on 80 meter in a simple caravan model.

Verdict
The best location of a NVIS car whip antenna seems to be in a roof corner to get the best overall results.
Tilting a short whip in this roof corner mount case seems to worsen overall performance.
